Changing Forum appearance

The appearance of the Stud.IP Forum is very flexible. The standard setting is the presentation of the contributions as “threaded discussion”, which is appropriate for reading long discussion branches including all digressions and is very popular in academic circles:

However, Stud.IP can also imitate the appearance of the most widely distributed forum software in the world, PHP-BB. These forums, which the majority of users are accustomed to, present contributions in the “Flat view”.

To allow the Stud.IP Forum to look like any arbitrary forum system, click on “Adapt forum” in the Forum (alternatively, go to your personal homepage, select the “My Stud.IP” tab and there the “Forum” subitem) and make the following adjustments:
