To get an overview of the ressources you could get you need to click on the search symbol in the head bar. Choose the tab "resssources" and then choose the facility and , if needed, the sub level. Depending on your user status (tutor, lectuer, admin) you can see one or more facilities you can choose from.
Now you receive an overview of all the ressources you can use. Alternativly you can look for specific ressources by typing in a term into the search field abd click on "start search".
Choose the ressource you want by clicking first on the arrow and second on the button "features". There will now open a new view "features" where you can click on "edit rights" to add a new user.
Use the search function (loupe symbol) to look for the appropriate user (best by the last name). Choose the user and add him by clicking on the yellow double arrow to the ressource. Repeat this process for all user that you want to add to the ressource. Klick on the button "assume" to save the settings. To delete a user click on the rubish symbol. If you are not a ressource responsible you have no possibility to chance the responsibles or add other users. If you want to add a new responsible you have to contact the responsible admin.
The added user can with its „author“ add ressources bookings on its own. Via the the ressources booking plant you can always see who booked which ressource and then do some changes.
On this example you are shown how you can do a recources booking for a user by yourselfe and how cou can edit it afterwards. Click within the field "action" on the right the button "create a new occupancy“.
You have the possibility, depending on your rights, either to look for a Stud.IP user and add him or entering a free input (a random name without any relation to Stud.IP). Add the appropriate date and time as well as a rota (if you want a weekly booking always at the same time) and click on "assume" to save the booking. For bookings that last more than one days and have the same time you nee to choose the button "multi-day" and add the start and ending date.
After that you can go back to the view of the "layout" to see which bookings are there. With this example you can see the booking we just made.
You can choose between a weekly and a listed layout. With the blue arrows you can navigate left and right trough the weeks and up and down to change the time. If there is a weekly booking you can see this on the "semester layout" either with the view "lecture peripd" or "semester break".
Via "edit booking" you can change your bookings all the time or delete them.
As an author you have the ability to book the ressources that are accessable for everyone or the ressourses for which you got the rights to book them. To book the ressources you need to choose the button "search" on the headline of the menu and choose the tab "ressources". If you know the name of the ressource you can type it into the search field. Otherwise leave it empty and click on "start search" to list all the accessable ressources.
Choose now your ressource and click on "occupancy".
Here you can see if and when a ressource was booked so far.
As an "author" you do not have the right to change others bookings but you can do your own bookings. Click on the button "create a new booking" within the action box. Add the appropriate date and time as well as a rota (if you want a weekly booking always at the same time) and click on "assume" to save the booking. When you switch back to the booking plan you can now see your own booking.
Change to "edit booking" to edit your booking or delete it. From here you can come back to the ressources search.
